Neon night
The Midnight Game at Neon Heights
You were only cat-sitting. At midnight every door in the tower locks, and the TV switches itself on: THE MIDNIGHT GAME HAS BEGUN.
Dreamy sunset
The House at the End of the Path is a dreamy, relaxing escape room game you play online in 3D, in your browser. You wake on a path through the corn at sunset. Far ahead, a farmhouse has its lights on, as if someone is expecting you. The garden gate in front of you is locked.

Every room in this game is a clearing outdoors: a small place walled in by something you just know you shouldn't step into. In Season 1 that is the corn, waist-high and dark red-brown under a huge rose and coral sky. The sun hangs low and never moves, and long shadows lie across everything. At the end of the path stand a lone wooden farmhouse with small gold windows and a wooden windmill with cloth sails.
It is beautiful, quiet and a little bit strange: the dreamcore feeling of a place you might have been before. It is never horror. There are no figures in the corn, no staring eyes, nothing that means you harm. Each clearing has one thing that isn't quite right, and setting it right is how the path opens.
You don't remember falling asleep. You're lying on a dirt path inside a small fenced garden: raised beds on both sides, a sundial on a gravel round, a potting bench with a row of clay pots, an oak rain barrel in the corner, an old wheelbarrow by the fence. The gate behind you won't lift its latch, and beyond it the path ends in corn after three steps. The gate ahead, towards the farmhouse, is chained shut.
Whose dream is this? That is the question the season follows, one clearing at a time, down the path towards the house with its lights on.
You walk the garden in 3D, on a phone or a computer, at whatever pace suits you. Tap the sundial, a bed, a pot or the gate and the view moves in close. Nothing hurries you: the light stays exactly where it is. When something in the garden changes, the view turns to show you.
Wisp, a red fox, keeps you company. Wisp slips in and out of the corn where you can't go, which quietly shows where the edge of a clearing is and makes the boundary feel friendly rather than eerie. In the garden, Wisp waits half out of the corn where the path goes on.
Dream logic, but with rules. Each clearing's one strange thing is shown and taught inside the clearing, and it behaves the same way every time: nothing random, nothing from outside the game. The garden is the first and gentlest. Each later clearing adds one new idea and builds on the ones before. It's a calm, looking-closely kind of escape room, more about noticing than about speed.
Stuck? After ten minutes without opening anything, a small Want a hint? button appears. Each tap gives the next, slightly bigger nudge, so you take only as much help as you want.
You can look around the room that's open right now for free. To play every room on your own, the whole game is €2.99, paid once.
We expect a season of five rooms to take about one to three hours in all. Want more than one world? All four games together cost €5.99, about half the price of buying them one by one.
The dream plays out there one Reel at a time, with the same unmoving sunset and everyone commenting what to try next. Comment what to try next, and the best idea is tried in the next Reel. Season 1 starts on @daily.escape.dream on 1 November 2026, and it is free to join.
Yes, that's the idea. There's no timer, no danger and no jump scares. The sun stays where it is, and you can stand and look as long as you like. The puzzles still ask for real thought, but nothing rushes you while you work them out.
In a way. The season takes place in the open fields around a lone farmhouse with a wooden windmill, and you start in its fenced vegetable garden, among raised beds, a potting bench and a rain barrel. Each room is an outdoor clearing in the corn on the path towards the house.
Dreamcore without the creepy side. It's quiet and a little strange, like a dream of somewhere you might have been, but there are no figures in the corn, no staring faces and nothing that means you harm. If anything feels wrong, it's a puzzle, not a threat.
You can look around the clearing that's open right now for free, and play along in the Instagram comments at @daily.escape.dream. All five clearings on your own, at your own pace, plus the hidden room, come with the game for €2.99, paid once.
We expect the five clearings of Season 1 to take about one to three hours in all, depending on how quickly you spot what is wrong in each. Every clearing is open from the start once you own the game, so you can stop after one and carry on another day.
Every game is its own world, with its own story, music and season of rooms.

Cosy cottage
