Neon night
The Midnight Game at Neon Heights
You were only cat-sitting. At midnight every door in the tower locks, and the TV switches itself on: THE MIDNIGHT GAME HAS BEGUN.
Cosy cottage · Halloween
Grandma Fen's Cottage is a cozy escape room game you play online in 3D, in your browser. You promised to tidy her cottage for her Halloween party, but Pip, a cheeky little bird, has stolen her keys, and the slightly magic cottage won't open a door without them. Find all five.

Grandma Fen's cottage is warm and painterly: cream plaster, terracotta tiles, plank doors with black iron hinges, hanging herbs and chillies, ivy creeping in round the windows. Season 1 is Halloween, so the light is golden autumn: pumpkin orange, apple red, ochre leaves and sage, with a lavender dusk in the shadows. It stays bright and warm all the way through.
The cottage is a little bit alive. It locks its doors whenever their keys are missing, it loves having visitors, and it shows how it feels: doors creak happily, things bloom. It never hides anything unfairly and it never scares anyone. There's no villain here, only a cheeky bird and a playful house.
It's Halloween, and Grandma Fen has gone to the village fair. The moment you step into her kitchen, Pip swoops in through the window, snatches her key ring and hides one key in every room. The hall door is locked. Pip's floury footprints lead across the worktop, a pot of pumpkin soup has gone cold on the stove, and the table is already laid for the party.
By the front door hangs Grandma's key board, with far more hooks than the cottage has doors, every one of them empty. Each key you find goes back on its hook, and the cottage opens up a little more.
You walk round the kitchen in 3D, on your phone or computer. Tap the stove, the spice carousel, Grandma's note on the table or the open window, and the view moves in close: painted labels, little drawings, the things Pip has knocked about. When something gives, the view turns to show you what changed.
Pip is a round teal songbird with a sunny yellow belly, a coral beak and big googly eyes. He sits on the windowsill among the geraniums, keeps an eye on you, and hops and chirps when you find a key. Nothing is rushed: the party is a promise, not a countdown.
The cottage's puzzles are homely: the everyday things in Grandma's house, used the way she would. The kitchen is the gentle opener. Each room after it adds one new idea and builds on the last. Nothing needs outside knowledge or long reading, which makes it a good family escape room: one person holds the phone, everyone points at things.
Stuck? After ten minutes without opening anything, a small Want a hint? button appears. Each tap gives the next, slightly bigger nudge, so you take only as much help as you want.
You can look around the room that's open right now for free. To play every room on your own, the whole game is €2.99, paid once.
We expect a season of five rooms to take about one to three hours in all. Want more than one world? All four games together cost €5.99, about half the price of buying them one by one.
The cottage plays out there one Reel at a time, with everyone in the comments helping to find Grandma's keys. Comment what to try next, and the best idea is tried in the next Reel. Season 1 starts on @daily.escape.cottage on 1 November 2026, and it is free to join.
It's made to be cosy, never scary: no villain, no jump scares, nothing dark. The puzzles are real escape-room puzzles, though, so younger children will enjoy it most with a grown-up alongside, sharing one phone or computer and talking each clue through together.
Yes. Season 1 takes place on Halloween: carving pumpkins on the table, pumpkin soup on the stove and a party to get ready for. It's the cosy side of Halloween, in warm autumn light, so it works just as well on any afternoon of the year as on the night itself.
Pip is the little teal songbird who swooped in and stole Grandma Fen's key ring. He loves shiny things and a bit of mischief. In the kitchen he sits on the windowsill, watches what you do, and hops and chirps when you find a key. Why he took the keys is part of the story.
You can look around the room that's open right now for free, and play along in the Instagram comments at @daily.escape.cottage. All five rooms on your own, at your own pace, plus the hidden room, come with the game for €2.99, paid once.
We expect the five rooms of Season 1 to take about one to three hours in all. The kitchen is the gentle start. Every room is open from the start once you own the game, so you can play one with a cup of tea and come back for the next another day.
Every game is its own world, with its own story, music and season of rooms.

Dark academia
You wake on the cold floor of a candlelit library, with no idea how you got there. Old books, brass locks, and a manor that doesn't want to let you go.
Dreamy sunset
You wake on a path through the corn at sunset. Far ahead, a farmhouse has its lights on, as if someone is expecting you.
